Hi there
Celebrate World Ocean Day with us as we have an incredible orca interaction, find an anchor, and spot a skunk.

Incredible Orca Interaction
May was Orca-filled, as we interacted on the way home from the Knights with a friendly pod, there was an emotional stranding at Ruakaka, and after the refloating, the pod played with us for three hours up the Tutukaka Coast. What a week!!

Waikato Anchor
It has been Ten Years since we sunk the ex-HMNZS Waikato, and we decided it was appropriate to raise the anchor and mount it in the marina like the Tui anchor... but we had to find it first... enter stage left the Ninja crew from TechDiveNZ!

What the weather is doing
We have a steady 18-19 degrees at the moment, with some outstanding visibility of 25 plus metres. The water temperature should start to drop over the next month, to between 16-17 through July, but the diving is still awesome!
Every Friday we load a report that looks out 3-5 days (grab an rss feed if you like) and we've got daily reports with our groovy wee weather widget
